Founder Padma Shri Pujya Acharya Shri Chandanaji

Pujya Acharya Shri Chandanaji who had contemplated on the messages of Bhagwan Mahavir and had a deep desire to carry out compassionate work in the land where Bhagwan Mahavir walked. When planning the 2500 year anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavir’s Moksha in the 1970’s, it was Gurudev who suggested that instead of any grand celebrations, compassionate work should take place in the land of Bhagwan Mahavir. With unwavering belief and exuding love for all, Sadhvi Shri Chandanaji (now Pujya Tai Ma) stood up and said that she will go to Bihar, which at that time was a lawless state, and do compassionate work there.

Pujya Tai Ma has nurtured, grown and steered the achievements of Veerayatan for the past fifty years with just one aim in mind.

‘Creating peace by extending friendship to all and giving opportunities to every individual to fulfil their potential’
