The computer science program provides professional education in Computer Science to prepare the student for Graduate study or for a career in the computing field. Students learn concepts and skills needed for designing, programming, and applying computer systems while also learning the theoretical and mathematical foundations of computer. The Objective of the department is to produce engineering graduates with academic excellence, positive attitude, good communication and Technical skills enriched with self ?confidence. This will help them for easy employment as well as for further higher studies in India or abroad.
The department of Computer Engineering established in 2010 has the distinction of being one of the oldest departments in the Institute. It has BE (CE) courses with intakes of 30 students respectively. The faculty believes in high quality teaching and is very active in projects, conferences and research publications, workshops, short term training programs, faculty development programs, co-curricular activities such as value addition programs, expert lectures etc. We have a nice blend of faculty members belonging to different age groups and areas of expertise, having good academic qualifications and track records, experience in offering consultation services, teaching and professional experience etc. We are also associated with and taking benefit of capabilities of eminent people - proven experts - in their own areas of interest.
